Steven Seagal is back.
A&E will be airing eight episodes "Steven Seagal Lawman" that went unaired after the actor was charged with sexual harrassment, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show, which returns Oct. 6, follows the action movie icon's real-life work as a reserve deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana.
"Lawman" premiered last December, and the first season wrapped up in February, but the second season of the show was suspended in April after a former administrative assistant sued Seagal for sexual harassment, accusing him of maintaining a network of "sex slaves."
Production was halted by order of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff, who said the charges would be a "distraction" to his department. The Hollywood Reporter says it's "unclear if the Sheriff's production ban is still in place."
The sexual harassment scandal wasn't the only legal trouble on the "Lawman" set. In April, the production company Genuine/Idea Factory slapped A&E with a lawsuit claiming the network took the idea for "Lawman" from them. That goes to trial in February in Los Angeles.
Idea Factory attorney Neville Johnson, a partner in the Beverly HIlls firm of Johnson & Johnson, said he and his clients were glad to hear that "Lawman" will be back on the air.
"The case is ongoing, we're very confident about our legal theory … We always knew the show was a terrific show and we wish them all financial success as they will be paying it to us after trial," Johnson said.
Representatives for A&E did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
