The first trailer for the Dreamworks/Electronic Arts videogame adaptation “Need for Speed” blasted out of the garage Wednesday morning, and from the looks of things, it’s all the bang-up car-chase fun of “Fast & Furious” but without the hammy acting and terrible dialogue.
Instead, we get “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul with all the intensity of Jesse Pinkman hell-bent on vengeance, matched with another rising actor in Dominic Cooper. Though we see plenty of Imogen Poots, it’s not clear whether we see Dakota Johnson, who’ll also presumably be strapped into a lot of hot cars March 14 before being strapped into a lot of hot situations next year as Anastasia Steele in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
