A24 has closed a deal for domestic distribution rights to Lynn Shelton‘s “Laggies,” the company announced Sunday morning.
Keira Knightley, Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell star in the film, which will receive a summer theatrical release from A24.

The film was produced by Anonymous Content and The Solution Entertainment Group, in association with Merced Media Partners, PalmStar Media Capital, and Penlife Media.
Anonymous Content’s Alix Madigan-Yorkin, Rosalie Swedlin and Steve Golin produced the movie with Palm Star’s Kevin Frakes, The Solution’s Myles Nestel, and Raj Singh. Executive producers include Paul Green, Lisa Wilson, Craig Chapman, Jennifer Roth, Shawn Simpson and Gordon Bijelonic.
The Andrea Seigel-scripted film premiered Friday night at the Eccles to warm response, including strong reviews for Knightley’s performance as a woman who starts hanging out with high school students in an effort to avoid adult responsibilities.
UTA Independent Film Group and CAA negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers. The Solution is handling international rights on the film.
