After a knockout performance this January, comedian Nikki Glaser will return as host of the Golden Globes in 2026. Next year’s iteration of the awards show will air in January on CBS and Paramount+ after the network and the embattled awards group struck a deal to air the telecast through 2029.
“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,” said Glaser. “I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from ‘The White Lotus’ who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in season four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”
The comedian was the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo after Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s dual run and earned raves for her hosting duties in January. In her opening monologue, Glaser took on Trump, celebrity political endorsements, Diddy, the viral “Wicked” press tour and Timothée Chalamet. But in contrast to Ricky Gervais’ take-no-prisoners approach, Glaser’s comedy came off as classy and fun both in the room and at home.
Now she’ll get a chance to do it all again next year.
