Halle Berry surprised Adrien Brody with a “payback” kiss after the actor’s infamous 2003 smooch.
“Surpriseee,” Berry wrote on a caption over a video of the kiss she shared on her X account. “I had to get some payback.”

In the video, the two are seen embracing before Berry lands one right on his mouth. The actors lock lips for a few seconds before releasing and taking one another in for a warm hug. The moment was captured on the Oscars red carpet.
Berry’s revenge comes after Brody shocked her by pulling her in for a make out session during the 20o3 Oscars ceremony, where Brody became the youngest Best Actor winner for his performance in “The Pianist.” Berry was presenting Brody with the award when he suddenly gave her an impromptu kiss.
Brody reacted to Berry’s kiss, saying he received Berry’s clapback with love.
“I feel her love, and I’ve been feeling her love with me, and that’s what’s important in this world, right?” Brody told Entertainment Tonight.
