‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ – Judd Interrupts Owen’s Hair Gel Routine With a Very Important Message (Exclusive Video)

Time to come clean, Owen

Four episodes into “9-1-1: Lone Star” and fans of the “9-1-1” spinoff series are well aware that Rob Lowe’s character, Owen, has been diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, he has yet to get up the courage to share this grave news with his son, T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein).

In TheWrap’s exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of the first-responder drama, Judd (Jim Parrack) encourages Owen to open up to his child, approaching him with this very important message during a very important moment for Owen: his hair gel routine.

Judd tells his firefighter friend about how he needs his wife, Grace (Sierra McClain), to help him get through his PTSD and that Owen “shouldn’t have to deal with this cancer crap” on his own and that he has to tell T.K.

Owen insists, “I’m just waiting for the right time.”

We can only hope that time is soon, seeing as a twister is coming to town and we don’t know what additional havoc it will wreak on Owen and his crew.

Here’s the official description for Monday’s episode, titled “Act of God”: A massive tornado sweeps through Austin, as Owen, Michelle (Liv Tyler) and their teams race to save those in its path.

“9-1-1: Lone Star” airs Mondays at 8/7c on Fox.
