HBO and the producers are famous for keeping details under wraps. But here are some things we have already learned about Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.”

You have been warned …
Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, says the next batch of episodes is gonna be, like, awesome. “I just finished reading season 7,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’d start preparing yourselves now…. Holy balls.”

Season 7 is going to be shorter
David Benioff, the co-showrunner, said earlier this year the season could run as short as 7 episodes — and HBO later confirmed that number.

No “Game of Thrones” peeps will be at the 2017 Emmys
Season 7 won’t debut til summer 2017 – too late for next year’s Emmy consideration.

Jon Snow might be around for awhile
After all, you don’t want to give a hero an all-but-certain death, bring him back to life – and then kill him again.
“I feel like one of the safest people on ‘Thrones’ right now,” actor Kit Harington told TheWrap this month.

By the time Season 7 lands, there may be another book from “A Song of Ice and Fire” novelist George R.R. Martin. “Game of Thrones” has now overtaken Martin’s storytelling, but “The Winds of Winter,” the next book, could land soon. Martin released a chapter earlier this year.

Big lessons about The Wall
Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the showrunners, told Deadline: “What’s laid out in this season is, very clearly, The Wall isn’t just a physical structure that is keeping the army of the dead out.”

This could be the biggest season of “GoT” yet
Season 6 averaged an all-time high of 7.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen – and “Thrones” nears 20 million once all platforms are included.
