“Maleficent” made just about $70 million for Disney in the U.S. alone last weekend, more or less guaranteeing that it will become a valuable franchise for the company, with all the merchandising and extra programming that such a property entails.

Hopefully, that includes a full feature film — and doll line! — inspired by 50 Cent’s take on the not-so-evil queen, as first seen on the Disney-owned “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
