Once a year, journalists, politicians and Hollywood elite come together to rub shoulders at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, alternately dubbed the “Nerd Prom.” But this year, the guest list had a new addition: social media stars.

Millennial multitaskers famous for their YouTube videos, Instagram posts, snaps, tweets and Vines including Tyler Oakley, Bethany Mota, Marcus Johns, Nash Grier and Jerome Jarre (all invited by the Huffington Post’s Arianna Huffington) made this the most social guest list yet. And nowhere was the influence of social media more obvious than at the Vanity Fair after-party.

Vanity Fair teamed up with Instagram and portrait photographer Jonas Fredwall Karlsson to celebrate 2015’s Vanity Fair/Bloomberg White House Correspondents’ Dinner Party with an Instagram Portrait Studio.
