Awards season is coming to its end, and the show to wrap it all up starts a bit earlier than normal this year.
Airing on Sunday, March 2, the 97th annual Academy Awards will see films including “Anora,” “Conclave” and “Wicked” all competing for Best Picture, and nearly all of Hollywood’s biggest stars in attendance.
But like we said, the show starts a bit early this year. Here’s what you need to know.
What time do the Oscars start?
The red carpet show will start at 6:30 p.m. EST/3:30 p.m. PST, followed immediately by the show itself, which starts at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST.

You’ll be able to watch the show live on ABC or stream it over on Hulu.
Who’s hosting?
Conan O’Brien will host the 97th annual show, marking his first time in the gig.
Who’s nominated this year?
“Emilia Pérez” led this year’s nominees with 13 nods in total, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. “The Brutalist” and “Wicked” tied for second place with 10 each.
