It’s truly a war of TV titans in the acting categories at the 2023 Emmy Awards. With critical darlings and audience favorites like “Succession,” “Barry,” “Ted Lasso” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” all wrapping up their final seasons this year, the stakes feel especially high. Not to mention the wave of acclaimed new series, including “Jury Duty,” “The Last of Us,” “Poker Face” and “Shrinking.”
Naturally, each acting category is stacked with heavy hitters — a lot of them competing with their own co-stars; especially, the nom-dominating casts of “Succession” and “The White Lotus,” the latter of which further shook things up this year by moving out of the Limited Series category. We’ll see who takes home the statue when the 75th Annual Emmy Awards air (currently scheduled for Sept. 18, 2023,) but for now, let’s take a look at who’s in contention.
From the uber-competitive lineup of comedy and drama frontrunners to TV movies, limited series and anthologies, here are all the actors nominated for an Emmy in 2023.
