‘2 Broke Girls’ Star Kat Dennings: Risque ‘Sex and the City’ Role ‘Changed My Life’

As a 14-year-old, she appeared on the HBO sitcom as a sexually experienced Jewish princess

Kat Dennings, one of the leads on the promising CBS sitcom "2 Broke Girls," said at the Television Critics Assn. summer press tour session for the show that a risque guest-starring role on a 2000 episode of "Sex and the City" changed her life.

Michael Patrick King, the former "Sex and the City" scribe who co-created "2 Broke Girls" with comedian Whitney Cummings, prompted Dennings to reveal the exact nature of the role she played on the HBO series.

King answered for her, and his response is unprintable here, but fans of the Sarah Jessica Parker comedy will recall that the actress, then 14, played an older-than-her-years teenager who threw a million dollar bar mitzvah.
