“The 100” is back, and with six months until the entire planet melts down, Clarke, Bellamy and the gang will probably find it harder than ever to survive.
In the first trailer released from the new season (above), survival is the key word, as Clarke (Eliza Taylor) must deal with the consequences of having pulled the lever to shut down ALIE and allow the nuclear reactors still populating the world to shut down in the Season 3 finale.
In case you don’t get how bad that is, plenty of imagery of acid rain, skin boils, mass graves and a human person literally being turned into dust abounds.
Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) still seems to be on the road and embracing her inner Grounder, while Raven (Lindsey Morgan) faces more than her fair share of danger and torment, Monty (Christopher Larkin) finds residual issues with Clarke’s leadership style, Bellamy (Bob Morley) tries to keep everyone alive and Murphy (Richard Harmon) does Murphy.
On the Grounder side of things, Roan (Zach McGowan) is back, now a series regular, with Indra (Adina Porter) by his side, and Echo (Tasya Teles) causing more trouble.
“The 100” returns for Season 4 on Wednesday, February 1 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
