I’ve written here before about women who make a difference in the world, especially women journalists who are brave enough to report the truth from around the world despite the dangers. Tuesday night the International Women’s Media Foundation will be honoring four incredible, trail-blazing women journalists at the annual Courage in Journalism Awards.
For the first time, you can watch it too. The Courage awards are going to be livestreamed on TheWrap and a bunch of other prominent media outlets – CNN.com, LATimes.com, Huffingtonpost.com, Dailybeast.com and others. They all want to help the world know what it really means to risk your life to tell the truth. And to stand up for human rights via the written and spoken word.
There’s a video above about these women. Kelze is stuck in Syria, the others will be there tonight and at TheWrap’s Power Women Breakfast on Wednesday.
