‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Heads to ‘Silent Hill’ in New Video Game Teaser (Video)

“Pacific Rim” director Guillermo del Toro is also involved in the project from “Metal Gear” creator Hideo Kojima

Norman Reedus has killed his fair share of zombies, but soon his fans can control him as he takes on demons and ghosts in the latest installment of the “Silent Hill” video game series.

A teaser trailer (above) for the PlayStation 4 game, titled “Silent Hills” — the ninth sequel in the survival horror franchise introduced in 1999 — revealed Reedus as a character navigating the spooky and dangerous town.

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the “Metal Gear” video game series, is working with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro to bring his vision to life through game developer Konami’s cross-platform, cross-generational game engine Fox Engine.

The playable teaser was released on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday after Sony introduced it at Gamescom 2014.

There is no release date for the game yet, and it’s not clear what capacity del Toro is involved.
