USA unveiled the first look at its upcoming drama “Colony” at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.
The series, from executive producers Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”) stars Josh Holloway of “Lost” and Sarah Wayne Callies of “The Walking Dead.”
The cast and producers of the series participated in a panel discussion, which debuted a first-look trailer and an exclusive eleven-minute sneak peek of the show’s premiere episode.
The series follows a family torn by opposing forces and making difficult decisions as they balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. Set in the near future, “Colony” takes place in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. Some people choose to collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.
“Colony” is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions. It will premiere in mid-October.
