Ratings: Fox Finishes Way Down the Leaderboard Airing Golf’s US Open Against Reruns

ABC tops sleepy Thursday with game show repeats

Thursday night was almost all reruns on broadcast, with the exception of Fox’s U.S. Open Championship airing from 8-9 p.m. ET.

Fox finished way down the Nielsen leaderboard last night, when ABC topped the sleepy primetime with some game show encores.

ABC was first in ratings with a 0.9 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 4.3 million, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS and NBC tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. CBS was second in total viewers with 4.2 million, NBC was third with 3.3 million.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/3 and in viewers with1.6 million.

Fox and Telemundo tied for was fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Fox was fifth in total viewers with 1.4 million viewers, Telemundo was sixth with 1 million

For Fox, an hour of the Open averaged a 0.4/2 and 1.5 million viewers. Everything else on the English-language broadcasters was a re-airing.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 704,000.
