Twitter has named Ross Hoffman its new vice president of global media, the company announced. Hoffman has been at Twitter since 2010, most recently as senior director of brand strategy.
Hoffman is the third person named to the position in the past six months. He replaces Nathan Hubbard, the former Ticketmaster president who held the title since January but announced his departure from the social media giant last month.
Hoffman will oversee Twitter’s day-to-day media operations and report to Ali Jafari, VP of revenue partnerships. Jafari is also currently overseeing the company’s media and business development.
“This year we’re focused on delivering on five product priorities — refining our core service, live-streaming video, creators, safety, and developers — as well as recruiting great talent,” said Twitter in a statement to ReCode, which first reported the news.
Earlier in the week, Twitter made another executive change. Consumer product head Jeff Seibert stepped down from the position on Monday to focus on developing Twitter’s mobile app developer platform, Fabric.
