Donald Trump said he “loved” his previous life and thought being president would be “easier” in a Reuters interview that reads like a “Saturday Night Live” sketch.

“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going… This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier,” Trump told Reuters in a feature that ran Friday, in which POTUS is asked to reflect on his first 100 days in office.

Trump was a real estate mogul and reality television star before defeating Hillary Clinton on Election Day. As his first 100 days in the Oval Office come to an end, he is still focused on the election.

“Here, you can take that, that’s the final map of the numbers,” Trump told Reuters while handing out maps of the United States with areas he won marked in red.

“It’s pretty good, right? The red is obviously us,” he said.

Trump then explained that he doesn’t have privacy because of his new gig.

“You’re really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can’t go anywhere,” he told the three reporters in the room before reminiscing about the good old days before he was the most powerful man in the world.

“I like to drive,” he said. “I can’t drive any more.”

The story also notes that Trump can order a soda by simply pressing a button on his desk; so the gig comes with at least one positive perk.
