President-elect Donald Trump’s choice of Reince Priebus as his White House chief of staff is being met with mixed reviews.
Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, was a key adviser during Trump’s campaign. So key, in fact, that Trump urged him to speak at the podium on election night after delivering his victory speech.
His solidly conservative views are bringing comfort to the Republican base, while causing concern among other Americans.

Nice to see President Pussygrabber "drain the swamp" by reaching into it, pulling out @reince, and making this POS chief of staff

With Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon, Trump isn't draining the swamp, he's moving it to the White House.

Please welcome Reince Priebus as my Chief of Staff! I've been really impressed at his sucking up & his commitment to suppressing black votes

Hi I'm Reince Priebus and I'm not, despite what my name may suggest, some kind of electric car

Reince Priebus named as Trump's new Chief of Staff. Has worked tirelessly to ensure white votes carry more weight in Presidential Elections. pic.twitter.com/JLkh4OBneH

And for a few tweets with a positive spin:
I'm very proud and excited for my friend @Reince. Congrats!

Choice of @Reince as COS over Bannon seems like a strong signal that @realDonaldTrump is taking a more conventional, conservative path.

Congrats @Reince on the new gig ! Thank you for staying loyal to our nominee inspite of Tremendous pressure not to ! Respect ! https://t.co/3rRb0yM6bc

It gives me some comfort that Reince Priebus will be the one trying to convince Donald not to press the button. If it was Bannon…
