With the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge taking Hollywood and the rest of America by storm, TheWrap decided to support the cause and take the chilly plunge, as well as put its money where its mouth is by making a financial donation.
TheWrap has nominated its trade rivals The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Deadline to join us in our quest to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
They have 24 hours to accept the challenge, make a donation or both.
With California in the midst of a drought, TheWrap opted against using water, and instead just waited for some of the ice to melt.
