A New Conference Exploring the Business of Independent Film:
(New York/Los Angeles) – TUESDAY, MARCH 15 — TheWrap.com and The Tribeca Film Festival are pleased to announce an in-depth conference addressing the state of the independent film business.
TheGrill@Tribeca (www.thewrap.com/thegrilltribeca), a day of thoughtful conversation and vigorous debate among the influencers and innovators in independent film, will be held on Friday April 22, 2011, at The Tribeca Grill, home of the festival’s main office.
The theme of the conference, to be held during the opening week of the Festival, is “The No-Fear Future of Independent Film.”
Among the speakers will be Sony Pictures Classics co-president Tom Bernard, Weinstein Company co-chairman Harvey Weinstein, Producer and Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal, Sundance winner and writer-director Drake Doremus, producer Jonathan Schwartz, industry veteran Ted Hope and many others.
