A man accused of stalking “Shake it Off” singer Taylor Swift was indicted Tuesday for loitering outside of Swift’s apartment, a spokeswoman for the New York County District Attorney’s Office told TheWrap on Wednesday.
The alleged obsessed fan, Mohammaed Jaffar, is scheduled for arraignment June 12.
According to the New York Post, Jaffar began his pursuit in December and continued for months, at one point making his way to the roof of Swift’s Tribeca condominium. He also allegedly rang her doorbell for an hour straight on one occasion, according to the News.
Along with descending on Swift’s home, Jaffar also allegedly called the singer’s management 59 times, demanding to be put in touch with Swift.
Jaffar was arrested March 6 for burglary and staking. He’s currently being held on $20,000 bond.
