Taylor Swift Joining ‘The Voice’ as Key Advisor for All Four Teams

NBC confirmed the pop star will be featured on the upcoming Season 7

“The Voice” is adding yet another music superstar to their already stacked roster – Taylor Swift.

NBC confirmed Friday that Swift would be joining the series as a key adviser in Season 7. The Grammy-winner will serve as a mentor to all artists on each of the four teams on the talent competition show.

Swift’s appearances will air Oct. 27, 28 and Nov. 3 during the Knockout Rounds of this season. She advised performers on vocal technique, stage presence and the importance of adapting songs to fit their own personalities and strengths.

Her arrival on “The Voice” coincides with the release of her studio album “1989” which is set to debut on Oct. 27. The album includes Swift’s No. 1 single, “Shake It Off.”

As The Wrap previously reported, other advisors for this season include Stevie Nicks, Gavin Rossdale, Alicia Keys and country music group Little Big Town.

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams joined “The Voice” as judges this year. Anchoring the other two spinning chairs are returning judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

“The Voice” airs on NBC Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET
