Actor Steven Seagal’s sexual misconduct case is now under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney, the office said on Friday.

The case was presented to prosecutors by the Beverly Hills Police Department on Jan. 31. Earlier in January, former actress Regina Simons and Dutch model Faviola Dadis told TheWrap they recently filed reports with the LAPD against the actor, but the D.A. would not say whether they were involved in the new case, or if it involved a different woman.

“A case was presented to our office on Jan. 31 by the Beverly Hills Police Department involving Steven Seagal and is under review,” D.A. spokesman Ricardo Santiago told TheWrap.

TheWrap broke the news that the Los Angeles Police Department was investigating Seagal for a sexual assault case from 2005.

More than a dozen women have accused Seagal of sexual misconduct. TheWrap reported last month that Simons accused him of raping her at his home in Beverly Hills in 1993, and Dadis said he groped her during an audition, “pinching my nipples and grabbing my crotch area with his other hand.”

Seagal later defended himself on Alex Jones’ InfoWars, saying, “This is just a complete tragedy… This isn’t just me, but hundreds of people around the world.” He added that “many of those people are completely innocent.”
