‘Steve Jobs’ Full-Length Trailer Features Michael Fassbender Conducting Tech Orchestra (Video)

Biopic of late Apple co-founder opens in theaters October 9

“Steve Jobs” is a conductor in the first full-length trailer for the Universal biopic starring Michael Fassbender as the eponymous Apple co-founder.

Seth Rogen plays fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who questions Jobs’ “genius” reputation in the drama written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle.

“What do you do?” Rogen’s Wozniak asks. “You’re not an engineer. You’re not a designer. You can’t put a hammer to a nail. I built the circuit board. The graphical interface was stolen, so how come, ten times in a day I read Steve Jobs is a genius?”

Jobs’ retort is simple: “Musicians play their instruments. I play the orchestra.”

The drama will also explore Jobs’ tense relationship with his family and co-workers, played by co-stars including Kate Winslet, Katherine Waterston and Jeff Daniels.

“Steve Jobs” hits theaters on Oct. 9.
