Sinead O’Connor is safe and sound.

The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer has been located after being found missing, a spokesman for the Wilmette, Illinois, police department told TheWrap on Monday.

O’Connor had been missing for more than 24 hours.

The police spokesman said that O’Connor is safe and is no longer listed as missing, declining to provide further detail.

In a statement earlier Monday, police said that they were “seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O’Connor.”

“O’Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 AM and has not returned,” police said. “A caller expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available at this time.”

O’Connor, 49, has a history of erratic behavior. Last year on Facebook, she threatened suicide in a post that claimed she took “an overdose.”

More recently, O’Connor has made headlines by attacking former late-night host Arsenio Hall, whom she claims provided drugs to deceased singer Prince. Hall filed a lawsuit against O’Connor in response.
