Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are marking their first foray into broadcast television with the sale of a half-hour comedy to Fox via 20th Century Fox Television.
Titled “Citizen Floyd,” the single-camera sitcom is described as a workplace comedy with political, action and suspense elements. Rogen and Goldberg will serve as executive producers along with James Weaver via their Grey Point production company. Alex McAtee will be overseeing the project for Point Grey
Sterling will write and serve as an EP. The order gives the project a put-pilot commitment from Fox.
Sterling previously wrote “The Interview,” which Rogen starred in and produced with Goldberg. The writer also recently sold an untitled pilot to CBS along with producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord. Rogen and Goldberg are currently in production on “Neighbors 2.”
