James Franco is stepping into the iconic stilettos of Sarah Jessica Parker for his latest comedy project.
The Oscar nominee will release a second season of his AOL Originals comedy “Making a Scene with James Franco,” wherein the experimental star reenacts classic moments from film and TV.
For this latest outing, available to stream on September 9, he’s mashed up two beloved TV institutions: “Sex and the City” and “Breaking Bad.”
Playing Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw, Franco guzzles cosmopolitans with this pack of ladies and dishes on a new romantic target — the antihero Walter White. Franco plays both parts, staying true to head-scratching form.
The series is executive produced by Vince Jolivette and Jay Davis for Rabbit Bandini Productions and Eric Day, Mark Koops, and Jennifer Heftler for Trium Entertainment.
Franco will next be seen in Hulu’s “11/22/63,” about a high school teacher who travels back in time to the assassination of JFK.
