White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has denied a CBS report that she is planning to quit her job by the end of 2018. “Does @CBSNews know something I don’t about my plans and my future? I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my ‘plans to leave the WH’ without even talking to me,” Sanders tweeted Wednesday night. “I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS.”

Earlier Wednesday, CBS reported that according to unnamed sources, Sanders has told friends she is thinking of leaving her job at the end of the year. The report also says that principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah is also considering an exit from the White House.
The White House did not respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
The White House communications department has seen heavy turnover of both high and low-level officials during Donald Trump’s term in office. Trump’s first communications director, Sean Spicer, stepped down in July, 2017. He was replaced by Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired after just 10 days and replaced by Hope Hicks, who quit earlier this year. The position has remained vacant since then.
And most recently, Kelly Sadler, a special assistant to the president in the Office of Communications, stepped down a month after a joke she made about John McCain’s terminal illness caused national outcry.
Sanders joined the Trump campaign early on, and served as deputy press secretary under Sean Spicer. She was promoted to press secretary after Spicer’s resignation from the white house.
Shah worked for the Republican National Committee during the 2016 presidential race.
