Rob Lowe reveals some vices in the newest cold open of Fox’s “The Grinder.”
In the exclusive clip (above), Lowe’s show-within-a-show lawyer, Mitch Grinder, confronts himself in a bathroom mirror over some addiction issues, before being confronted by a new love interest, played by Odette Annable.
She wants him to put down the booze and pills, and even tries to seduce him into it, but that may prove harder than he first thought.
The new episode of “The Grinder” also features a returning guest-star turn from Maya Rudolph as Lowe’s actor character Dean Sanderson’s therapist, and Jason Alexander as Cliff Bemis.
“The Grinder” airs Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c on Fox.
