ABC’s duck call delivered a Sunday night victory.
The network’s “Celebrity Family Feud” jumped 31 percent last night week-over-week thanks in large part to the cast of “Duck Dynasty,” which played the Steve Harvey game show at 8 p.m. While ABC had a pretty comfortable key 18-49 demographic victory, it just squeaked past runner-up CBS by 20,000 total viewers.
CBS, Univision and an all-rerun NBC tied for second place in the main demo.
ABC was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.19 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following a repeat, “Celebrity Family Feud” at 8 earned a 2.1/8 and 8.6 million viewers. “Battle Bots” at 9 received a 1.3/4 and 4.2 million viewers.
CBS, NBC and Univision tied for second in ratings, each with a 0.9/3. CBS was second in total viewers with 5.17 million; NBC was third with 3.3 million, airing only repeats; Univision was fourth with 2.1 million.
For CBS, “60 Minutes” at 7 had a 0.8/4 and 7.4 million viewers. “Big Brother” at 8 posted a 1.9/7 and 5.8 million viewers. Reruns followed.
Fox was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.2 million. After repeats, “Golan the Insatiable” at 9:30 got a 0.5/2 and 1.1 million viewers.
Telemundo tied was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/1 and 873,000 viewers.
