Patrick Duffy, Anne Archer Join Will Wallace’s Directorial Debut ‘Trafficked’ (Exclusive)

The stars join previously announced cast members Kelly Washington, Ashley Judd, Jessica Obilom and Efren Ramirez

Patrick Duffy and Anne Archer have joined the cast of Will Wallace’s directorial debut “Trafficked,” TheWrap has learned.

“Trafficked,” which began production in Malibu, California this week, is based on Harvard professor and writer Siddharth Kara’s best-selling book, “Sex Trafficking: Inside the Business of Modern Slavery.” Kara is considered one of the world’s foremost experts on human trafficking and contemporary slavery.

Duffy, famous for his role as Bobby Ewing on iconic primetime soap “Dallas,” wrapped a run in the series’ reboot on TNT in 2014. His other most recent roles include stints on ABC Family’s “The Fosters,” Amazon’s “Welcome to Sweden” and CBS daytime drama “Bold and the Beautiful.” The actor also co-starred with Suzanne Somers in ABC’s long-running 90s sitcom “Step by Step.”

Veteran move and film actress Archer, is most notable to audiences for playing Michael Douglas’s wife in the 1987 Best Picture Oscar nominee “Fatal Attraction,” starring Glenn Close as a psycho mistress. Archer has also starred in a slew 90s films including Harrison Ford’s “Patriot Games” and “Clear and Present Danger.” Her TV credits include 2009 series “Privileged,” “It’s Always in Sunny Philadelphia” and “Boston Public.”

The stars join previously announced cast members Kelly Washington (“Jurassic World”), Jessica Obilom (“We Are Family”), Alpa Banker (“Awkward”), Courtney Gains (“Faster”), Efren Ramirez (“Crank”), Jason London (“Dazed and Confused”) and Ashley Judd (“Divergent”) round out the cast.

Wallace and Conroy Kanter of KK Ranch Productions are producing alongside Kara, Vincente Aldape, Alexandra Malick and Andrea Ogden.

Sara Wallace and Jaime Gallagher of Wallace/Gallagher Casting are currently rounding out final casting efforts.
