The biggest-ever U.S. lottery just got bigger.
There was no jackpot winner in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, which promised a record $900 million payout.
So now the payday for this Wednesday’s Powerball drawing climbs to an estimated $1.3 billion, according to lottery officials.
That’s twice as large as the last biggest lottery payout in the U.S. — a $656 million MegaMillions jackpot in 2012.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 32, 16, 19, 57 and 34. The Powerball number was 13, with a multiplier of 3.
The odds of winning Saturday’s grand prize were one in 292.2 million.
