“We’ll never get things back to the way they used to be,” Rick tells his son Carl in the latest trailer for “The Walking Dead.” But isn’t that kind of status quo on “The Walking Dead”?
The new trailer hints at what’s to come in the second half of the show’s fourth season. For one thing, expect a lot of train tracks. It seems that with the prison overrun by zombies, Rick and the other survivors are hugging the train tracks, “Stand by Me” style, as thy try to survive the zombie apocalypse.

No one asks the “Stand by Me” question, “You guys wanna go see a dead body?” because dead bodies are kind of a given.
We all get a look at Rick’s nasty shiner, a remnant from his last run-in with The Governor, and our girl Maggie in grave danger, yet again.

And Carl? Carl stays eerily cool. When did he become the scariest part of the show?
