Netflix has renewed “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” for a second season, the streaming service announced Sunday.
The action drama stars Krysten Ritter as a super-powered detective living in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. It is executive produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg and Liz Friedman with Jeph Loeb.
No premiere date has been set for the second season.
Netflix did announce Sunday premiere dates for 10 new and returning series — including Season 2 of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” which will debut on April 15 and Season 4 of “Orange Is the New Black,” which will debut June 17.
Netflix also set premiere dates for “Flaked” (March 11), “The Ranch” (April 1), “Lost and Found Music Studios” (April 1), “Kong: King of the Apes” (April 15), “Marseille” April 5, “Grace and Frankie” Season 2 (May 6), “Word Party” (June 3), “Stranger Things” (July 15) and “The Get Down” (Aug. 12).
Netflix additionally announced that casting for an upcoming episode of anthology “Black Mirror” will include Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis. Owen Harris will direct the episode.
