Netflix has ordered a sketch comedy series from “Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk and “Arrested Development’s” David Cross.
“With Bob and David” will consist of four half-hour episodes and one hourlong “making of” special.
Odenkirk and Cross write and star in the series and serve as executive producers, along with Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, Tim Sarkes, Dave Kneebone Tim Heidecker, and Eric Wareheim.
“With Bob and David” is an original Netflix Production. Heidecker and Wareheim’s Abso Lutely Productions is providing production services.
Earlier on Thursday the streaming service announced a pickup of supernatural drama series “Montauk” from “Wayward Pines” writers Matt and Ross Duffer. The sibling writing team is writing and directing the 1980 period series, about a mystery surrounding a boy who vanishes into thin air and the government conspiracy that follows.
The Duffer Brothers will serve as executive producers, along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner. “Montauk” is a Netflix production.
