NBC Orders Politically Incorrect Office Comedy Pilot From Joe and Anthony Russo

NBC is getting politically incorrect this pilot season.

The network has ordered a pilot, billed as a “politically incorrect office comedy,” which will be executive produced by Joe and Anthony Russo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier”).

The as-yet-untitled project, from Universal Television and Russo Bros. Productions, will follow best friends Dale and Georgie, whose relationship is upended when one of them starts dating the “perfect” woman.

Aseem Batra (“The Cleveland Show,” “Scrubs,” “Animal Practice”) is writing and also executive producing.

The new project joins other comedy pilot orders from NBC including the adaptation of the British series “Cuckoo,” “Strange Calls,” about a cop who’s assigned to a rural town that has a supernatural underbelly, and the workplace comedy “Sharing.”
