MTV set premiere dates for returning comedy “Awkward,” new scripted comedy “Faking It,” and new culinary competition “House of Food.”

“Awkward,” which just wrapped its third season in December, will be back with its fourth season under new showrunners on Tuesday, April 15 at 10/9c. Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler take over after series creator Lauren Iungerich departed from the series after Season 3.

After several attempts at a second scripted comedy with staying power, MTV is premiering “Faking It” on Tuesday, April 22. Executive produced by Carter Covington (“Hart of Dixie,” “Greek”) based on a story by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, the show follows two female best friends who will do anything, including faking being lesbian, to fit in at high school.

“Faking It” stars Katie Stevens, Rita Volk, Michael Willett, Gregg Sulkin and Bailey Buntain.

And finally, the cable channel will debut its “Top Chef” meets “Real World” reality series, “House of Food,” on Monday, March 31. The series pits eight untrained contenders against each other. They’ll compete in the kitchen, then live alongside each other.
