‘Morning Joe’ on Trump Administration: Feels Like a ‘Developing Dictatorship’ (Video)

“This is unprecedented, to have a president who behaves this way,” Mika Brzezinski says

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski compared President Donald Trump to North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, and said it feels like a “dictatorship” is developing in America.

“This is unprecedented, to have a president who behaves this way,” Brzezinski said on Friday’s show.

Brzezinski casually mentioned that the closest thing to what Trump has been doing takes place in North Korea, but Joe Scarborough unsuccessfully attempted to move the conversation along.

“It does feel like a developing dictatorship,” Brzezinski said.

Scarborough then told his co-host and fiancé to use her “inside voice” when she says things like that.

On Thursday night, Fox News host Sean Hannity attacked the MSNBC stars for this type of rhetoric, saying he’s “worried” about the couple and is wiling to provide them with a year of therapy.

“I am willing to pay, out of my pocket, out of love and sympathy, for therapy, for a year, so your new, beautiful relationship can thrive in the Trump era. And that, emotionally, you’ll be stronger and able to cope in these difficult times for you,” Hannity said.

Hannity said that Brzezinski and “Liberal Joe” Scarborough, who is actually a Republican, have “way too many emotional breakdowns everyday,” and played a montage to prove his point.

Meanwhile, Brzezinski and Scarborough spent last night at New York City venue Cutting Room where the “Morning Joe” namesake debuted new music with a release party for his latest album.
