Kaitlin Olson is set to return to Fox in husband Rob McElhenney’s comedy pilot, with Rob Riggle set to co-star as the male lead, TheWrap has learned.

The actors join Leah Remini in the untitled multi-camera comedy. The “Kevin Can Wait” alum stars as Jean, a stereotypical conservative woman who considers herself a patriot who loves her country and firmly believes in everyone’s right to be left alone.

However, Jean lives a very progressive lifestyle with her wife, Birdie (Olson). Together they’re raising Jean’s two boys with the help of the boys’ father and Jean’s ex-husband, Richie (Riggle), who currently lives in the garage.

Ordered outside of the traditional broadcast network pilot cycle, the comedy, written and executive produced by McElhenney and Rob Rosell, reunites Olson with Fox. Her comedy “The Mick” was canceled at the conclusion of its second season earlier this year.

Olson and McElhenney also co-star on the FXX comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” which McElhenney co-created and has seen Rosell as writer and executive producer.

McElhenney and Rosell’s “Always Sunny” collaborators Nick Frenkel, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton also serve as executive producers on the 20th Century Fox Television pilot.
