Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon showed off their dance moves on Thursday night.
The first lady appeared on “The Tonight Show” to promote her Gimme Five challenge and Let’s Move initiative, which encourage physical fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.
She and Fallon certainly got moving as they presented the “Evolution of Mom Dancing,” which featured such classic dances as The Tush and Shush, The You Go Girl, and the Barack Obama. To be fair, though, the first lady sat that last one out.
This wasn’t the first time the first lady had challenged a talk show host to a dance off. She recently appeared on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and put the dancing enthusiast through her paces as well.
The two then traded stories about parenthood, including how Sasha and Malia try to shield their mom from music with bad language in it. Fallon then related a story about how his father would use a key to scratch out the dirty words on records (when records still existed), before he was allowed to listen to them.
