The verdict is in: actor Michael Rapaport and President Donald Trump are on opposite ends of the climate change “debate.”
The star of Netflix’s “Atypical” took to Twitter on Saturday morning to post one of his trademark sharp-tongued videos, skewering the president for his skepticism of global warming. Rapaport was at an ice skating rink bearing Trump’s name — or as he called him, “dumb Donald, Donald the f—-g deviant ” — and highlighted the rink’s conspicuous lack of, well, ice.
“There’s no global warming, right? Look at your ice skating rink, you f—cking dummy,” Rapaport said, panning the rink. “It’s 80 degrees in October, but there’s no global warming.”

While Rapaport is dubious of warm October days in New York City, they seem to be right up the president’s alley. In November 2012, he couldn’t take “freezing” New York. “We need global warming!” tweeted the future commander in chief.
It's freezing and snowing in New York–we need global warming!

That wasn’t a one-off, either. The president had a similar take three years later, saying “we could use a big fat dose of global warming.” (Someone please cover Al Gore’s eyes.)
It's really cold outside, they are calling it a major freeze, weeks ahead of normal. Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!

For Rapaport, “Atypical” was recently picked up for a second season by the streaming powerhouse. He plays the father of an 18-year-old on the autism spectrum in the series.
