Michael Flatley is getting ready to dance for the future president, according to TMZ.

The “Riverdance” star and his Irish dance troupe have been added to the list of performers for the Liberty Ball as part of Donald Trump’s official inauguration celebrations on Friday in Washington D.C., the website reported.

This latest addition to the line-up means the “Lord of the Dance” creator will join entertainers such as Sam Moore, Travis Greene and The Rockettes.

While famous for his Irish dance skills and his lightening fast feet, Flatley was actually born in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were both Irish-born, but migrated to the U.S. several years before he was born.

After changing the face of Irish dance with his breath-taking creation of “Riverdance” in 1994, Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance” show broke box office records all over the world, according to his official website. In 1998, it set a record-breaking run (which still holds) of 21 consecutive shows at London’s legendary Wembley Arena. Worldwide video sales were in excess of 12 million copies.

Flatley owned a home in his north Cork, Ireland, up until October 2015, when he listed the ancestral Castlehyde mansion for 20 million Euro.

Representatives for Flatley, Trump and his inauguration team did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Earlier on Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported that Grammy winner Chrisette Michele has agreed to perform at Trump’s inaugural festivities.

“Sources close to the festivities” told the paper a deal was reached a week ago, but has been kept “a big secret” for fear of backlash.

The singer’s camp was reportedly “especially concerned” after TheWrap reported Saturday that Jennifer Holliday, who agreed to perform for the president-elect last week, canceled her performance after complaints from her LGBT fans.
