Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Casts Jay Ali for Season 3 (Exclusive)

New Netflix series regular will play FBI agent Rahul “Ray” Nadeem

The Marvel TV Universe just got one guy bigger: Netflix’s “Daredevil” has cast Jay Ali (“The Fosters”) as a series regular for Season 3, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

Ali will play Rahul “Ray” Nadeem, whom Marvel describes as “an honest, but ambitious FBI agent willing to go to any length for his family.” He joins the returning cast that includes Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and as Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. 

We are thrilled to welcome Jay into our stellar cast,” said Marvel’s head of television Jeff Loeb, who also executive produces. “His storyline and riveting performance will captivate our fans in the third season of Marvel’s Daredevil.”

Drew Goddard and Jim Chory also executive produce “Daredevil” Season 3. “Marvel’s Daredevil” is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

Ali’s recent credits include “The Fosters,” “Significant Mother,” “Me, Myself, and I,” and “Pitch.” He was recently in Sony Pictures’ film “Darling Companion,” and shot the lead in the upcoming indie “The Illegal.”
