Six weeks after winning an Oscar for her devastating performance in “12 Years a Slave,” Lupita Nyong’o has signed with CAA for representation in all areas, TheWrap has learned.
A representative for CAA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Several major agencies began pursuing Nyong’o as soon as her “12 Years a Slave” performance started earning awards buzz. The actress, who honed her craft at the Yale School of Drama, charmed Hollywood throughout awards season and is thought to have a bright future.
Nyong’o, who recently appeared alongside Liam Neeson in “Non-Stop,” whipped up a media frenzy after she met with director J.J. Abrams to discuss a potential role in Disney’s “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

The new face of Lancome, Nyong’o was previously represented by Innovative Artists. She continued to be repped by D2 Management and attorney Nina Shaw.
