The openly gay actors of HBO’s show “Looking” are among the growing list of honorees of 2014’s Out 100 list that also includes veteran actor Richard Chamberlain, sex advice columnist Dan Savage and TV producer Greg Berlanti.

Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett and Russell Tovey all portray gay men on “Looking,” which will return for its second season in 2015.
“The show took its time to set up the characters and story lines last year,” Groff said. “This season moves at a faster pace. A lot happens quickly.”

“Faking It” and “GBF” star Michael J. Willett, filmmaker Gregg Araki and “Tales of the City” creator Armistead Maupin have also been named as honorees.
Also included in this year’s list are Scout and Liz Margolies, the LGBT advocate couple who got engaged at the White House in 2012.

The “Out 100” double print issue will be available on newsstands Nov. 20 as well as online throughout November. A star-studded celebration will be held in New York on Nov. 20.
