Lady Gaga is going to follow up her hit Super Bowl LI halftime show by replacing Beyonce at Coachella.
The “Born This Way” singer and “American Horror Story” actress will be the headline act both Saturday nights at the music festival in Indio, California, Billboard reported Tuesday.
Beyonce had to cancel her previously scheduled appearance on doctor’s orders as she is pregnant with twins. Instead, the “Formation” singer will perform at Coachella in 2018.
After dazzling the crowd in Houston’s NRG stadium with a gravity-defying Super Bowl performance, Gaga announced that she will kick off her “Joanne” world tour beginning in August in Vancouver and running through December.
The tour support Gaga’s album of the same name, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in October.
The busy actress/singer/professional badass is also set to star alongside Bradley Cooper in a remake of the 1954 musical drama film, “A Star Is Born.”
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which is hosted by AEG’s Goldenvoice, takes place April 14-16 and April 21-23, from the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Other notable acts for 2017 include Radiohead, The XX, Travis Scott, Bon Iver, Future, Kendrick Lamar, New Order and Lorde.
A representative for Lady Gaga did not immediately respond to theWrap’s request for comment.
