Reports about whether Kit Harington will return to “Game of Thrones” have been circling ever since his character, Jon Snow, was violently killed off in the Season 5 finale.
And Harington’s recent arrival in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where Season 6 of HBO’s hit series just started filming, has reignited speculation about whether his character lived, died for good or died and will be resurrected.
According to fan site Watchers on the Wall, fans are connecting the dots and hoping for Jon’s return.

Watchers on the Wall also reports that Harington declined fan requests for pictures, potentially trying to avoid anything that could fuel even more talk.
Given that actor Tom Wlaschiha, who portrays Jaqen H’ghar on the show, was on the same flight as Harington just furthered suspicions.
In the month since its Season 5 finale in June, there has been much back and forth about whether Snow and his long locks will return to the Night’s Watch. While director David Nutter told President Barack Obama that Jon is dead, costar Emilia Clarke said there might be a “50/50 chance” that he will return. And the actress at the center of one of the most popular fan theories — that the character will be resurrected by priestess Melisandre — Carice Van Houten reportedly told a London comic convention over the weekend that Jon “can’t be dead.”
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Harington confirmed that he would not be back for Season 6.
Other fan theories include Jon Snow returning as a White Walker or else a wight and the idea that the character is a warg and has the ability to transfer his consciousness into the mind of his direwolf Ghost.
