Kids Aren’t Impressed By ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer, But Kinda Dig Old Cartoon (Video)

Then again, they didn’t think the old movies looked all that cool, either

A new “Kids React” video from YouTube content creators The Fine Bros. shows that kids aren’t all that impressed by the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle” movie from producer Michael Bay.

After giving their opinion on the opening sequence for the original “TMNT” cartoon series (guys liked it, girls didn’t), children between the ages of 6 and 12 watched the first trailer for the Aug. 8 release from Paramount.

The consensus seemed to be … meh.

“It doesn’t look that good,” one young boy said in the video (above), while a young girl said it looked “weird.”

The good news for Paramount is that the same kids weren’t impressed by the “cheesy” turtles in the previous live-action films from the ’90s, proving once and for all that kids don’t know what is good for them, anyway.
